Originally written by Dean Pitchford and adapted by Pitchford and Walter Bobbie, “Footloose” can be characterized as an energetic and heartfelt musical that tells the story of Ren McCormack, a teenager from Chicago. After moving to the small town of Bomont, Ren confronts the town’s ban on dancing and fights for the rights of his peers to express themselves through music and dance. The production features memorable songs, including “Holding Out for a Hero” and “Let’s Hear It for the Boy”.
The talented cast includes Leilua Kruse, Leilani Munck, Alex Norman, Arabella Chrastina, Matthew Barge, and Kendra Barnhart, among others.
