During this time, he found himself engaging more with work and social activities, such as biking with friends, than focusing on his studies. The situation worsened when the pandemic hit, causing him to disengage from remote learning by turning off his Zoom camera to play video games instead.
In addition to these challenges, Cameron’s family dynamics shifted dramatically when he moved in with his father, Eric. This move came after his mother, Shelly, began heavily drinking and later overdosed on pills, leaving behind a heartfelt apology for her struggles with mental health.
