Fountain Valley is buzzing with excitement as the much-anticipated Summerfest rolls back into town! This fantastic community festival, which kicked off in 2009, is set to take place at the Fountain Valley Sports Park from June 13 to June 16. Mark your calendars because this is a weekend you don’t want to miss!
Summerfest promises something special for everyone! It’s a chance to hit the rides, indulge in delicious food, and soak in the vibrant atmosphere. If you’re planning to attend on Thursday, you’re in for a treat with ride discounts—just $3 per ride from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.. That’s right, a fun evening doesn’t have to break the bank!
As the sun sets on Thursday, get ready for a musical showstopper as Fan Halen, a dynamite Van Halen cover band, takes the main stage at 8 p.m.. Get those air guitars ready and prepare to rock the night away!
Things heat up on Friday, June 14, which brings a country twist! The festivities kick off at 5 p.m., where attendees can enjoy performances from Kenny & Luke’s Country Beach Party (6-7:30 p.m.) and Dirt Road: The Jason Aldean Experience (9-11 p.m.). Get your boots on because this night is filled with toe-tapping fun!
Don’t forget to catch the opening ceremony featuring a performance of the national anthem by Miss Fountain Valley. If that’s not enough, prepare to be amazed by a dazzling dragon dance!
For those over 21, Friday night also means $5 beer and wine, and a fireworks display to top off the evening’s festivities. You truly won’t want to miss the chance to celebrate with your neighbors amidst the fantastic sights and sounds!
Throughout the festival, the community stage will showcase performances from local schools and groups. This is a splendid way to support local talent and see your friends and neighbors shine! Additionally, community groups and nonprofits will be operating food booths, offering tasty treats while raising funds for their important causes.
Saturday, June 15, continues the excitement from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday, June 16, wraps up the festival with hours from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.. The local favorite Tijuana Dogs will close out the festivities with a performance starting at 6 p.m. on Sunday. So, get ready for an unforgettable afternoon filled with good vibes and live music!
General admission to Summerfest is just $5 for attendees aged five and older, and hey, parking is free! What a great deal for a family outing full of fun, laughter, and memories!
