After nearly a decade of delighting customers at its previous location in Westminster Mall, Lulu Ave decided it was time for a change. Lulu Ave has quite a legacy! The studio originally got its start back in 2001 in Norwalk, thanks to Basmajian’s parents. Fast forward to 2015, and the reins were handed over to Johnny, who has worked tirelessly to maintain the high-quality standards that the brand is known for. However, with the decline of foot traffic in malls, the decision was made to relocate and embrace new opportunities in a lively neighborhood.

But wait, there’s more happening in Belmont Shore! The popular Stroll & Savor event returns for two exciting nights on June 18-19, 2025. This delightful event is an opportunity to sample a variety of delicious food and drink, indulge in local shopping, and enjoy some great live music. It promises to be a fantastic evening out, running from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on both nights.
Tickets for Stroll & Savor will be available for purchase starting at 4:30 p.m. in front of Chase Bank. Priced at just $15, each ticket includes a sheet of 12 sampling coupons. For those who can’t make it this month, don’t worry—there are additional Stroll & Savor events already on the calendar for July and August 2025!
As part of the safety improvements, the Parks, Recreation and Marine Department has also installed large, floating play structures at the south end of Alamitos Bay. These playful additions are sure to delight kids and adults alike while enhancing the overall experience at the beach.
