What followed was nothing short of chaotic. Surveillance footage captured three men hurriedly exiting the scene with stolen valuables roughly 20 minutes after the initial knock. Among the spoils were valuable items such as credit cards and various belongings, amounting to tens of thousands of dollars. For local residents, the sight of intruders acting under the guise of friendly delivery personnel hits all too close to home.

The story took an unexpected turn when the Irvine Police Department set up a containment perimeter based on swift investigative work. A suspicious vehicle was pulled over, and the driver, who falsely presented himself as a food delivery driver, was detained. Authorities confiscated hundreds of thousands in suspected stolen property, which included cash, jewelry, designer handbags, and four firearms, three of which had been reported stolen prior to the arrests.
